Soup Was Good

As you can see the soup last night was very good. Tonight I got wild and did some more garage cleaning. Rotated the tires on the "ole" Buick trying to git rid of the shake at 70 mph. I took it for a test drive and the rotation seemed to improve, but still need to have Kenny check it out. Needs brakes too. (Not bad, but close.) Dinner tonight - Ramen

Color Corrections

I wanted to share a little Lab color correction technique I have been using for quite some time. L channel sharpening, a / b inverse curves and I think a pretty good result. I got this picture from Ashley's web site. This picture is everything a color guy could ever want. Keep the good pics coming Ashely. PS.. First Meal After Flave

First meal after the flave. I didn't even know what to do. I looked at the stove and had forgotten how it worked. I found some "flave" chicken leftovers and decided to make a soup. Only time will tell, have not had any yet. I'm thinking it's going to be good! Did some work on the garage this weekend. I'm looking pretty "lean." I hung anything I could on the ceiling and put up few shelves.

Also, dug up the Dailia bulbs. I'm hope my growing bulb collection comes through next year. I would really like to focus on Dailia in the front yard.
(I'm sure that's not how you spell Dailia, but Rachael will fix it.)

The Last Meal

The last wonderful thing I got to cook on the original flave. Some yummy cheese cake bites. Cream cheese, (1) egg, (6) tablespoons sugar and 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract. You got to use a mixer and mix everything up. Then take (1) Vanilla Wafer and put it in the bottom of a aluminum muffin tin. Cook on power five for 12 minutes. Regular oven about 300 for 30 minutes. Top with your favorite pie fill for a topping. Put in fridge and enjoy.

The flave will be back. I'm looking a the new NU-Wave Oven Pro. I can get one with my priority club pionts. 73,000. I had to call the personal shopper to find it.
Will miss you flave, but I will be back!!!

The Time Draws Near

Soon the Flave will be gone. We have not had the final "home" meal yet. Rachael and Her mom are out at the Korean market. Probably at the casino eating crab legs.
I have made some good bye soft tacos.

Flave Dinner Last Night

Rachael got to finally taste the power of the flave. We cooked a whole chicken. As you can see by the picture, I think everyone liked it. After dinner we cooked a cake. (No we didn't cook it with the icing on!) Can't decide on what to cook for breakfast???

Talk about false advertising. When I first opened the box, it smelled like spray paint. The paint job is awful, and the inlay is paper like. The design looks like a stencil or paper as well and the whole finish of the guitar is suspect. What I really can''t believe is that Esteban would put his name on this. He said it was a craftsmanship work of art...something that you would expect to pay $3000 for. I will tell you this...a guitar that is mass produced like this one, in China is garbage.

Glad to see I didn''t get the only flawed guitar. Mine has a big chip of wood missing by the tuning pegs, the red gem accents are already falling out, and the paint isn''t that great. I am really disappointed that a company would send out sub par merchandise as their anniversary limited editions. I haven''t tried the amp out yet, but will soon since I see that some of those don''t even work. I guess I just paid 200 for the instructional dvd''s? Not worth it.

Extremely Disappointed - Waste of Money 9/19/2008
Not nearly the quality described by Estaban. I purchased this as a birthday gift for my husband who has played guitar for 40+ years. Hard to tune & the strings keep breaking. He has only played it a few times, & each time he can count on a string breaking. This morning he had it out, attempted to play it again & same thing...another string broke. Doesn''t have this happen with his other guitars. He put it back in the case, then into the shipping box & say he will never touch that guitar again.

Esteban''s instructions are fabulous! Anyone can learn to play. Price of his guitar packages is phenominal when you consider the amount of money lessons would cost. Have purchsed 10 of his guitars. This, the worst quality yet. Neck was broken, horrible finish. Could see dots from printing on decals. 1st first guitar purchasd, Turquoise Edition, flawless. Something has happened. The quality in his guitars seems to be slipping. I hope Esteban receives comments. If I were him, would want to know.

Disapointed 6/8/2008
I was not impressed with the quality of this guitar. It came with several scratches on it and even had some kind of cloth sticking out between the glued pieces of wood on the neck. I tuned the strings and they immediately went out of tune. I kept tuning them and they would not stay in tune. I was not impressed with the sound quality. I didn''t even unpack the rest of the items in the shipment since I was very disapointed in this guitar and I just repacked it and returned the whole package.

Flavor Wave Oven

We are loving the flavor wave oven. Mr T is selling them for about $150.00, but I found the old school version 1 for $42.00 at www.heartlandamerica.com.
This this is the best. For the last 12 days I have cooked every meal on this thing. Cookies, stuffed hot dogs, cake, chicken wings, a whole chicken, a roast, steak and even eggs and bacon.

I am crying because I am going to give Rachael the Flave. She will enjoy it. I am planning on getting another one, If she likes it....

Got a Hotel Room Close to the Airpot Thursday Night

I used Priceline and got me a sweet room close to the Atlanta airport. Also, you could hardly find gas. This picture doesn't look too bad, but trust me it sucked trying to fill up.

Updates

I have not been updating much. So here we go. Went to Atlanta last week. Here is a good pic of my room. 2 flat screen TV's. I could lay in bed and turn the channels on both TV's.
